This is a local 'Charlie' he sits on the pipe above my bathroom roof and chatters away - it's a sort of "bub-bub-bub-bub-bub" conversation.
And below is another frequent visitor - in fact we have 3 that regularly haunt the tree at the top of the garden. They watch us intently with their beady greeny/grey eyes and then fly off with a "chak, chak, chak, chak"call.
We get a nice variety of larger birds in our garden and in the past have had a Sparrow Hawk with its kill on the lawn. The Kestrel raids the sparrowville on a regular basis and we also get Magpies, Carrion Crows and Rooks. I can waste an awful lot of time watching them.
